It takes guts to start your own brand. Being an entrepreneur, creating designs, formulas, packaging… none of it is easy. Neither is production.

On a daily basis, we at MR Factory are reminded of the perfect synergy between our digital tool, our advanced technical skills, our drive to provide custom support, and the things required by indie brands – those burgeoning companies who dream of disrupting markets, codes, and traditions.

Entrepreneurs know that every detail matters if you want to survive in this saturated market. From early concepts to execution, the stakes are too high to allow for compromise. When it comes to smaller quantities, however, most potential suppliers are reluctant to explore options and challenge themselves, as their traditional tools can’t provide the flexibility needed. But that is precisely MR Factory’s MO.

We love things to be tangible, so let’s tell the story collaboratively, through the newest skincare gem: Cicéron.

Cicéron is pure brevity. With her PhD in pharmacy, Jeanne Tieu-Benichou founded Cicéron, which is changing the game with Aura and Noctetwo next-generation anti-ageing products. These highly sensory, high-performance products take a bold stance: one mist for the morning and one for the evening. A single, intuitive routine for clear, clinically-tested results.

“One gesture – a soft mist – and that’s it,” summed up Jeanne Tieu-Benichou.

What motivates us is the choice of elegance, effectiveness, and French-style excellence,” she continued.

“I met MR at last year’s PCD. Right off the bat, our first conversation centered on advice and support. I instantly knew I’d met the right partner, and everything since then has confirmed it. Even though we’re a small brand, we were looked after. They showed exceptional availability and responsiveness. We share a “start-up mentality.”

We wanted a partner who could produce top-quality, highly precise small-scale runs. Not only did MR meet the brief – they went above and beyond, giving us so much advice. For example, their retail experience guided us on packaging lifespan in stores and how it is affected by handling. This led us to an anti-fingerprint finish. I was able to choose paper that perfectly matched my premium vision, with the right off-white color. MR planned for how it would react to embossing – it had to flex without breaking, so the team suggested a way to boost the 3D effect through decor. We were able to test out and approve the colors by machine-producing samples.

MR’s staff are very patient and incredibly professional. We visited the workshop and met the experts. It’s a living form of craftsmanship, a drive for excellence that matches our own.”
