Dear clients, dear partners,
Spring is in the air, bringing with it the energy of renewal. A perfect moment to introduce a collaboration that truly resonates with our values.
Some projects simply stand apart. Aimée de Mars is one of them.
The brand has just celebrated its 10th anniversary—ten years driven by a strong conviction: returning to the origins of perfume. Before petrochemicals. Before standardization.
Valérie Demars is a trained chemist who studied at ISIPCA and previously worked with Givenchy and Léa Nature. Her childhood dream and her passion for plants and essential oils naturally led her to create the brand Aimée de Mars.
AS a committed perfumer, she founded and leads a fragrance house that heals as much as it enhances. A 100% natural perfumery—an aromaperfumery.
Each creation incorporates a patented active heart made from 21 plants and water from a living spring located on the land of her grandmother Aimée in Montcresson. Renowned for its purity, the spring was once a pilgrimage site. As she simply puts it, it is water that “carries something.”
She approached MR with both a holistic and pragmatic vision.
For the seven references in the Déesses range, she wanted to move from offset to digital printing. Why?
“Today, digital has nothing to envy from offset. And it brings flexibility. I had been researching it for some time and met MR FACTORY with the goal of creating an agile repack,” she explains.
Financial agility.
“When you develop a brand independently, agility is essential. Cash flow and working capital are critical. The advantage of digital is that you can forget about quantity constraints—both minimum order quantities and the plate combinations imposed by offset printing. With digital, I can order 500 units of one reference and 2,000 of another within the same run.”
This is precisely MR FACTORY’s approach: enabling brands to manage their orders according to their needs, without worrying about storage.
Agility by design.
“We also wanted to reduce our environmental impact. It felt obvious to remove the internal corrugated insert as part of a broader effort to reduce materials and resources. MR FACTORY designed a volume that integrates the protective structure directly into the box construction.”
The dimensional specifications were maintained so as not to disrupt consumers during the in-phase/out-phase transition. The unboxing experience was enhanced with a mantra printed on the locking tab, integrated into a single-sided printing approach—yes, everything printed on the front side.
Green from design to production.
MR FACTORY printed with water-based inks on FSC®-certified board. No board waste during color setup, and the decoration was reinterpreted to limit tooling.
MR ARTWORKS stepped in to refine the files, clarify the technical platform, optimize the layout, and rationalize the foil stamping across the entire range.
A highly professional partner
“The team was extremely professional and highly responsive. From study to delivery, everything went perfectly. The on-site proofing was very efficient, with attentive operators who perfectly understood the feedback. The foil stamping is excellent—they truly deserve the EPV label. But what we value most is the quality of the exchanges: a technical approach and a relationship that is simple, dynamic, and smooth. As is often the case, it’s ultimately a story of people and trust,” concludes Valérie Demars.
A big thank you to Valérie Demars for her trust and for the meaningful collaboration we shared.
We look forward to making your life easier—your cash flow too—and supporting your packaging creativity.
