Their digital capabilities allow them to <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">create\u00a0carefully measured quantities \u2013 no need to waste material during fine-tuning, or overstock packaging.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Their model is as efficient and sustainable as can be<\/strong>.\u201d\u00a0Eva Lagarde\u2019s words are a reminder of our core values. And Eva\u2019s an expert in her field: she\u2019s been carrying out custom sustainability studies for fragrance and cosmetics brands (check out her\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/re-sources.co\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">re-sources<\/a>\u00a0website).<\/p>\n<p>This constitutes MR\u2019s\u00a0<em>raison d\u2019\u00eatre<\/em>.\u00a0<strong>We\u2019ve always redesigned packaging<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cahead of time,\u201d\u00a0<strong>striving towards an industry that\u2019s faster, more creative, and more eco-friendly<\/strong>.<br \/>\nWe\u2019re devoted to developing our business to the highest standards, starting with the\u00a0<strong>EPV<\/strong>\u00a0label in 2013, then\u00a0<strong>Imprim\u2019vert<\/strong>\u00a0in 2015, and\u00a0<strong>FSC<\/strong>\u00ae\u00a0as of 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Xavier Labarthe, head of CSR and Industrial Assets, just oversaw the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>renewal of our sites\u2019 FSC<\/strong>\u00ae\u00a0<strong>certification.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0\u201cFSC\u00ae\u00a0is already a big deal. But we\u2019re tackling this from every possible angle. The DIAM Group has boosted CSR even more through their\u00a0<strong>proactive approach<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 they set targets that are even more ambitious than current standards.\u00a0<strong>Between eco-design, life cycle analysis, SBTI commitments, Ecovadis Gold, and the Group\u2019s impressive social policy, CSR is far-reaching and constantly evolving.<\/strong>\u00a0Every MR team plays a role, and it pulls a vast array of levers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Today, for example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>&#8211; 90% of our energy comes from renewable resources,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>&#8211; 99% of our paper is FSC<\/strong>\u00ae\u00a0<strong>-certified,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>&#8211; 100% of our paper and off-cuts are recycled,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>&#8211; 100% of our teams are trained and made aware of eco-responsibility.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Watch this space: after the summer, we\u2019ll have more to tell you about the\u00a0<strong>next steps in FSC<\/strong>\u00ae\u00a0<strong>renewal, new tech, new premises, and new horizons<\/strong>.
